About Hay Fever
Hay fever is very common. It affects about 2 in 10 people in New Zealand. It is an allergic reaction to various pollens and hits most people hardest at springtime. Symptoms of hay fever include a runny nose, sneezing, itchy eyes, and itchy throat. Although not serious, hay fever symptoms can make life miserable. Good preparation and treatments can help with hay fever symptoms, especially for those who have asthma as it can be worsened by uncontrolled hay fever.
