Hay Fever

We provide treatment to help relieve symptoms of allergies and hay fever for people aged 2 years and older.

About allergies and hay fever

Hay fever (allergic rhinitis) and other mild allergies are very common, affecting about 2 in 10 people in New Zealand. They can cause sneezing, runny or blocked nose, itchy eyes, throat, or skin. These symptoms are usually triggered by allergens such as pollen, dust, or animals. We can help assess your symptoms and offer treatment to help you feel better.

Who can we treat?

We can treat people aged 2 years and over with hay fever or allergic symptoms, including hives, who do not have signs of a serious allergic reaction.
