Genital Herpes Flare-Up

We offer prescription antiviral medication to help manage genital herpes, reduce outbreaks, and lower the risk of passing it on.

About Genital Herpes

Genital herpes is a common viral infection that causes painful blisters or sores in the genital or anal area. It’s caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV) and can come back from time to time. These flare-ups can be triggered by stress, illness, or other factors. Although there’s no cure, antiviral medicine can help reduce symptoms, speed up healing, and lower the risk of spreading the virus to others.

Who can we treat?

We can treat people aged 16 and over who have been previously diagnosed with genital herpes and are experiencing a typical flare-up.
