About Sexually Transmitted Infections:
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are common and often have no symptoms. STIs like chlamydia, gonorrhoea, and trichomoniasis can be passed to others through unprotected sex, and if untreated, can cause serious complications. We offer discreet STI checks, treatment if needed, and advice to help keep you and your partners safe.
Who can we treat?
We can test and treat people aged 14 and over for common STIs, including chlamydia, gonorrhoea, and trichomoniasis. You can come for testing, treatment, or support after a known exposure.

Protecting yourself from STIs
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are common and often have no symptoms. To reduce your risk:
• Use condoms or barrier protection every time you have sex
• Get regular STI checks, especially when starting a new relationship
• Avoid sharing sex toys or wash them well between uses
• Talk openly with partners about sexual health and recent testing
• Get vaccinated against HPV and hepatitis B if you're eligible
Early testing and treatment helps protect both you and your partners
Looking after your sexual health during treatment
- Take your medicine exactly as prescribed, and finish the full course.
- Avoid sex during treatment and for 7 days after completing treatment, and until all partners are treated.
- Let recent sexual partners know they should get tested.
Follow-up
- Retest for chlamydia in 3 months to check for reinfection.
- For Gonorrhoea, a test-of-cure may be needed 4 weeks after treatment if symptoms continue or oral infection was treated.
- Come back if symptoms worsen or don’t improve within 2–3 days.
